Signing a cooperation agreement between Zarqa University and the United Company for Educational Production
A cooperation agreement was signed at Zarqa University – Jordan, on Monday, August 29, 2022, between the United Company for Educational Production and Zarqa University, with the aim of cooperating in educational technology and providing digital services through the Hawwaz digital platform.
The agreement was signed on behalf of the university by its president, Prof. Nidal Al-Ramahi, and on behalf of the United Company for Educational Production, on behalf of the company’s president, Mr. Muhammad Aliwa, and its CEO, Dr. Fahmy Al-Balawneh, in the presence of the Dean of the College of Educational Sciences, Prof. Dr. Reda Al-Muadhiyah.
The agreement stipulates cooperation between the two parties in supporting the building of the digital education system by providing Hawwaz digital services to teachers and students, which include qualitative digital services, the most important of which are:
• Making available digital courses available on the Hawwaz platform in a self-learning manner within Zarqa University for professors, administrators and students.
• Providing educational courses through the platform (Hawwaz) and benefiting from the advantages of the learning management system, electronic tests and classrooms with their awareness: self-learning and direct.
• Training lecturers and professors at Zarqa University in the digital transformation program and qualifying them digitally to enhance the concept of the digital lecturer.
• Digital publishing of university books, scientific and academic sources and references through the bookstore and within Hawz publications.
• Providing the option to enter the Arabic Digital Library (Ask Zad) through the Hawwaz platform, with an individual subscription, and with distinctive facilities.
• Issuing certificates of participation from the Center for Continuing Education and Community Service at the university for participants in the programs and courses available on the Hawwaz platform.
• Holding scientific events and joint conferences.
The President of Zarqa University, Prof. Nidal Al-Ramahi, reviewed the accelerated steps that the university has reached in the process of transformation towards e-learning with high quality in terms of style, content and teaching methods that ensure positive interaction of students.
Executive Director Dr. Fahmy Al-Balawnah reviewed the qualitative and distinguished projects led by the United Company for Educational Production and its digital products.
